                    Current Happenings

  Amidst all the ruckus we are striving to push forward to a more active 2024.  We are currently scheduling shows this year and you can see a brief list on this page. There is more information on the Exhibits Page. As the year proceeds if any adjustments are needed, we will post accordingly.

  Our current featured artist Is : Valeria Yost

  Classes this year are starting soon.  The Gloria Dawson-Teats 8-week course in the Spring has been scheduled.  Gloria is known for her stunning oil paintings, but she also works with watercolor and pastels. She has been teaching for years and we are blessed to have her in our guild. Gloria is also the current vice president of the SRAG, class coordinator and show chairman.

  Mary Bakker recently taught a drawing class, January 27 & 28,  Her subjects range from her sweet pups to landscapes paintings mountains rivers lakes and much more. Mary has taught many classes over the years and we look forward to drawing with her.

January 30 is the date we enter miniature artwork to the Valley Art Center for the February Art For Heart fundraiser show.

   We will host Plein Air painting activities, as weather permits. 

 March Artisan Madness show in White Bird will be held March 16 & 17. End of March SRAG will hang art at the Pine Tree Credit Union in Grangeville for a 6 month show. Gloria Teats classes will begin April 16 for 8 weeks. Border Days art show will be held July 4th, 5th and 6th.  The month of August is our SRAG event at Valley Art Center.  The end of September we remove art from Pine Tree ,

The Main Clearwater Plein Air opportunity is pending. 

Our monthly meetings are held the second Thursday of each month except July and August, After the meetings we offer art workshops, studies etc. December is our annual pot luck following the meeting and elections.
