Sharon Herther

Raised in the Treasure Valley on a dairy farm in Meridian, Idaho. From an early age her mother kept lots of art supplies around the house.

Working outside there was always inspiration for a painting like

the plowed field, sunsets, huge flower and vegetable gardens.

The desire to create has been great all through her life and this has lead to a life long occupation in the arts.

She has really considered it a privilege to pursue this love in many forms.

That includes not only painting, drawing, etc. but interpretive signs for the State of Idaho:

Ponderosa State Park, Cataldo Mission State Park and Bruneau  Sand Dunes State Park .

Sharon also illustrated "The Discovery Maps" for McCall and Twin Falls.

She built furniture for several years and many pieces can found in homes through out Valley County.

As for now Sharon, and her husband Mike, have Herther Leather which designs, makes and distributes holsters, sheaths, knives as well as many other items.

Sharon designs jewelry which is marketed out of Gallery 55, McCall Made, Dahlia's Beauty Parlor McCall, Lake House Outfitters Cedar Creek, Texas .

A member of the Idaho Watercolor Society and Salmon River Art Guild.

She loves where she lives and see the mighty hand of God in all of creation.
